Electric two-wheeler manufacturer, Revolt Motors will soon commence operations in the financial capital of the country. The company recently confirmed the update through a teaser image on its social channels. Revolt Motors will enter Mumbai on 30 August 2020.
The company, which commenced its operations in August 2019, is currently present in five cities – Delhi, Pune, Ahmedabad, Hyderabad and Chennai. Mumbai will be the sixth city in which Revolt Motors will commence its operations. Meanwhile, the company has gradually started dispatching the electric motorcycles in the cities where it is already present.
Revolt Motors’ product portfolio comprises of two products – RV300 and the RV400. The RV300 is the base version while the RV400 is the premium model. The base and the premium models are available under My Revolt Plans for Rs 2,999 and Rs 3,999 per month respectively. Buyers can also opt for the one-time payment option, and purchase the RV400 for Rs 1,03,999 and RV300 for Rs 84,999 (both prices are ex-showroom).
The two models are distinguished by the colour options and mechanical specifications. The RV 400 uses a 3kW motor that is powered by a 3.24KWh battery. The top speed of the premium model is rated at 85kmph while the battery is claimed to deliver a range of 150kms. The RV 300 is powered by a 1.5kW motor and a 2.7KWh battery that is claimed to return 180kms per charge and a top speed of 65kmph.
