Triumph Motorcycles, the British Motorcycle manufacturer and Smile Foundation have come together for a second consecutive year to support the cause of Girl Child Education. To celebrate 70 years of India’s independence, Triumph India, with 3000 customers in 30 months of its operations in India, is organising the ‘Ride for Freedom’ this independence day across 12 cities of India.
Mr. Vimal Sumbly, Managing Director, Triumph Motorcycles India said, “Education empowers freedom and India will become a free empowered country only when its girls are rightfully educated and protected. Triumph Motorcycles’ ‘Ride for Freedom’ is a pledge, which we took last year along with our partner Smile Foundation to support Girl Child Education. We received a good response through our riders and we believe it will be even better this year.”
Triumph Motorcycle rider participating in this 'Ride for Freedom' campaign can donate to Smile Foundation in support of Girl Child Education.
Mr. Sumbly further commented, “To commemorate the 70th year of free India, Triumph Motorcycles owners will hit the tarmac to pledge for this noble cause and together we shall contribute towards providing elementary education to the girl child and subsequently for a better future.”
The rides will be flagged off from the Triumph dealership of the respective cities and will end at the dealerships. For further information and to register to become part of the ‘Ride for Freedom’, please visit https://www.facebook.com/events/1786588864920795/
