The upcoming Royal Enfield Bobber 350 test mule has been spotted once again but this time, the spy shots have come from a much closer range. The images have revealed extensive details about the bike.
The Bobber 350’s headlight seems similar to the Classic 350’s headlight but it could get LED illumination as seen here. Even the handlebar is tall owing to its laid-back riding stance. Then, there’s the split seat setup with a rear floating seat. It gets a round tail light-flanked by LED turn indicators. We think the latter could be offered as an accessory.
Royal Enfield will use the same J-series 349cc engine that makes 20.2bhp and 27Nm in the Classic 350, Hunter 350 and Meteor 350. And, the same motor will also be used for the upcoming Bullet 350 as well. It’ll be linked to a five-speed gearbox. Then the rider triangle too seems fairly relaxed as the rider footpegs are slightly forward set.
The hardware setup for the Bobber 350 comprises telescopic front forks with dual rear shocks. The brakes include a front and rear disc with ABS and these are mounted on spoke wheels with white-walled tubed tyres. We expect the Bobber to get similarly sized wheels as the Classic 350. Apart from LED illumination, the Bobber could get features like an analogue console with a small digital inset and a Tripper Navigation as well.
Royal Enfield could make an official announcement towards the end of this calendar year. It’ll be priced at around Rs. 2 lakh (ex-showroom). As of now, the brand is set to debut the Bullet 350 at the end of this month. The bike has been spotted testing multiple times and it will retain a majority of styling from the previous-generation model.
