- Will be powered by a 349cc, single-cylinder motor
- Spotted testing multiple times
- Could get internal tweaks to the hardware
Royal Enfield is set to take the veil off the latest generation of the Bullet 350. It will make its debut tomorrow, 1 September, 2023, and our first ride review of the motorcycle will go live soon after that. So, here’s a quick recap of all that we know about the upcoming Royal Enfield Bullet 350.
For its latest generation, the Bullet 350 will follow the same old-school design language. The round headlight, bulb indicators, long exhaust, and scooped single-piece seat will be carried over. However, there could be tweaks to its chassis and other bits. Then, even the hardware like the telescopic front forks and twin rear shocks appear to be the same on the outside, but the springs could be tuned differently.
Powering the new Bullet 350 will be Royal Enfield’s 349cc, J-series, single-cylinder motor. It’s used in the Classic, Hunter, and the Meteor 350 and develops 20.2bhp and 27Nm. The engine is linked to a five-speed gearbox. We also expect Royal Enfield to equip the Bullet with the same console as the Classic 350’s. It’s a semi-digital cluster and houses a large analogue dial with a small LCD inset.
Royal Enfield will offer the Bullet in multiple variants. The top-spec trim will get a blacked-out engine casing and the mid and base models shall receive chrome-finished engines. The three models will also vary in terms of their braking hardware. The fully loaded and mid-spec variants will get front and rear disc brakes with dual-channel ABS, whereas the base model will get a front disc and rear drum unit. Spoke wheels with road-biased tyres will be common on all three variants. Similar to other Royal Enfield bikes, the new Bullet 350 could also get a list of accessories like a new seat, rear luggage rack, footpegs, turn indicators, sump guard, engine crash guard, panniers, and more.
We expect the new Royal Enfield Bullet to be priced around Rs. 1.65 lakh, ex-showroom, Mumbai. It will be positioned between the Hunter and the Classic.
