- Likely to be launched around mid-2025
- Gets the same engine as the Interceptor 650
Royal Enfield has been rigorously testing many of its upcoming motorcycles with the Guerrilla 450 stealing all the limelight lately. Ahead of its official launch, which is scheduled for 17 July, the bike has been spied on multiple occasions. One such spy shot recently surfaced on social media. What’s more interesting this time around is the presence of a Bullet 650 test mule which was parked alongside the Guerrilla.
It seems the Bullet 650 is inching closer to production with all of its body panels looking fully finished. It has borrowed all the signature elements of the Bullet 350 such as the squared-off rear fender and a curvy, single-piece seat with a ribbed pattern. It also gets a tiny beak on top of the headlamp which is present on the Classic 350 and Bullet 350 as well. Moreover, the thick fork covers, spoke wheels, teardrop-shaped fuel tank, and small tiger lamps have been retained from its 350cc siblings.
The engine, meanwhile, will be the same 649cc, air/oil-cooled, twin-cylinder unit that does duty on RE’s existing mid-size offerings. The spy shots also show a pair of exhaust canisters routed from the cylinder head. Now, the tuning of the engine might be slightly different to suit the Bullet’s relaxed character. In the existing 650cc offerings, it produces 47bhp and 52Nm and comes mated to a six-speed gearbox. While the wheels look like the same 18-inch units as the Interceptor and Continental GT, the tyre sizes might be slightly different.
Royal Enfield is expected to launch the Bullet 650 around mid-2025. The Classic 650 Twin and the Scrambler 650 might debut before that, perhaps towards the end of this year.
