- Powered by a 648cc, parallel-twin motor
- Likely to launch around mid-2025
The Royal Enfield Bullet 650 Twin has been spied testing in India yet again. The motorcycle has been spotted testing several times before, but it looks like this particular version is closer to production. The Bullet 650 Twin will be based on the same chassis as the Super Meteor 650 and the Shotgun 650.
The Royal Enfield Bullet 650 Twin borrows a lot of styling cues from the upcoming Classic 650 Twin and the Bullet 350. It features a round headlamp with a beak, teardrop fuel tank, squared-off rear fender, and single-piece seat. To keep its old-school charm intact, the Bullet 650 Twin will ride on wire-spoke wheels, and we don’t expect it to get alloys even as an option.
The Bullet nameplate has a strong brand recall in the country and is immensely popular in Tier-2 and Tier-3 cities. Owners strongly associate with its brand heritage and the Bullet 650 Twin could serve as a perfect upgrade for the existing Bullet 350 customers.
The Bullet 650 Twin will be powered by the tried and tested 648cc, parallel-twin engine that powers other Royal Enfield bikes. The oil-cooled motor produces 46.4bhp and 52.3Nm and is paired with a six-speed gearbox.
The Bullet 650 Twin will be the most affordable 650 from Royal Enfield. We expect it to be launched in India around mid-2025. Royal Enfield’s current focus is on the Classic 650 Twin and the Bear 650, which will be showcased at EICMA 2024.
