- Royal Enfield Bullet Trials models were launched in March 2019
- Sales for the motorcycle haven't picked up yet
Royal Enfield launched the Bullet Trials back in March 2019 in two iterations- Trials 350 and Trials 500. And even after nine months in the market, the motorcycles haven’t seemed to swoop in a lot of sales numbers.
While the company was unavailable for comment, according to our dealer sources, there are a few takers for the Bullet Trials models in comparison to the motorcycles it is based on; the standard Bullet 350 and 500. This could be due to the consumer base that the standard Bullet caters to which prefers more classic-looking motorcycles over something like the Trials which gets a single-seat and flashy paints for the frame. Moreover, the motorcycle also gets dual-sport tyres and upswept exhaust that give it an enthusiastic and sporty appeal.
Interestingly, the source added that customers instead inquire if the Classic models could be done up in a similar way from the factory. A Classic Trials range from Royal Enfield would be an interesting proposition in near future maybe?
