- Will be powered by a J-series, 349cc, single-cylinder motor
- Features a tall handlebar, split seat, and an LED headlight
- Rides on telescopic front forks and dual rear springs
We recently came across the spy shots of the upcoming Royal Enfield Classic 650 and now a new test mule of an upcoming 350cc Royal Enfield bike has also been spotted. This one is the Classic 350-based Bobber and has been spotted testing multiple times in the past as well.
The new Royal Enfield 350cc bike will feature proper Bobber styling. The same is confirmed by its tall handlebar and the rear floating seat, which could be removable. The test bike also reveals other elements on the Bobber, including the white-walled wheels, a pannier mount on the right side, and an engine guard as well. We expect Royal Enfield to offer the crash guard as an accessory for an added premium, as it does for its existing line-up.
Royal Enfield will use the same J-series, 349cc, single-cylinder motor for the upcoming Bobber, as that of the Classic 350, Hunter, Meteor, and the Bullet. This engine makes 20.2bhp and 27Nm and is linked to a five-speed gearbox. Not to mention, the Bobber’s chassis will also be altered to accommodate the new seating setup. Its hardware includes telescopic front forks, dual rear shocks, a disc brake at both ends, and spoke wheels with road-biased tyres.
We expect the Royal Enfield Bobber 350 to be priced more than Rs. 2 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). Its launch could happen in the coming months. Once launched, it will rival the Jawa 42 Bobber.
