As we enter the new financial year, we brace ourselves for price hikes from several manufacturers. We recently told you about Hero and Yamaha two-wheelers getting dearer from 1 April 2021. Now, joining the bandwagon is Royal Enfield that has bumped up the prices of its most popular offering in India, the Classic 350. Each variant of the bike has received a different amount of price hike. The highest has been recorded for the Matte and Chrome variants that are costlier by Rs 5,992.
The old and new variant-wise prices (ex-showroom, Mumbai) of the Royal Enfield Classic 350 have been mentioned in the below table.
The Classic 350 has been the best-selling Royal Enfield offering for the most part ever since its inception. While it still garners handsome sales numbers, RE is prepping to give it a makeover. This update will majorly be on the mechanical and feature front with subtle changes in its styling. The next-gen Classic 350 will be based on the new J platform that is already utilised for the Meteor 350. It is based on a double downtube chassis and runs on a smoother 349cc, air/oil-cooled engine that makes 20.2bhp and 27Nm.
The Royal Enfield Classic 350 mainly competes against the likes of the Jawa Standard, Honda Hness CB350 and the Benelli Imperiale 400.
