JawaYezdi Motorcycles has launched its updated fleet of motorcycles for 2023. This comprises bikes from both Jawa and Yezdi, and in this story, we’ll tell you all that’s new on the 2023 Jawa 42 Bobber.
What are the new updates for the Jawa 42 Bobber?
The majority of tweaks for the Jawa 42 Bobber come on the mechanical front. It gets an OBD2-compliant, 334cc, single-cylinder motor. The brand also made internal changes to this engine for improved NVH levels. Other changes like giving it a larger throttle body and exhaust ports have also been made to enhance the Bobber’s performance and adhere to the emission norms.
Are there any design revisions made to the Jawa 42 Bobber?
The 2023 Jawa 42 Bobber retains its design from the previous year’s bike. So, the round LED headlight, wide handlebar with bar-end mirrors, tear drop-shaped fuel tank, and scooped single seat remain unchanged. Even the slash-cut exhaust and the hardware has been untouched. Thus, the 42 Bobber rides on telescopic front forks and a monoshock and gets a single front and rear disc brake mounted on spoked wheels.
What features does the updated 42 Bobber get?
Apart from LED illumination, the 42 Bobber features a fully digital instrument console that houses a speedometer, odometer, trip meter, tachometer, side stand engine cut-off, fuel level readout, and more. It also gets ABS for added safety.
What’s the asking price of the 2023 Jawa 42 Bobber?
There’s a marginal hike in the 2023 Jawa 42 Bobber’s asking price. It now retails at Rs. 2,12,500 for the Mystic Copper colour, whereas the Moonstone White and Jasper Red paint themes cost Rs. 2,13,500 and Rs. 2,15,187 (all ex-showroom, Delhi), respectively. The 42 Bobber rivals the Royal Enfield Classic 350 in this segment.
