- Global unveil on 27 June
- India launch on 5 July
- Likely to get a 350cc-400cc engine
Bajaj Auto and Triumph Motorcycles will unveil their co-developed roadster and scrambler motorcycles this week. These new Royal Enfield rivalling products would make their global debut on 27 June, while their India launch is scheduled to take place on 5 July, 2023. Notably, these products were spotted on several occasions in the past, and the pictures and videos have revealed crucial details such as styling, features, and hardware.
As seen in the spy images, these motorcycles will carry a neo-retro design that will be complemented by modern features such as full-LED lighting and a digital instrument cluster. The scrambler variant will further benefit from 19-inch front and 17-inch rear wheels and a longer travel suspension for improved off-roading characteristics. Meanwhile, the roadster will use 17-inch alloy wheels on both ends and a relatively lower suspension travel rating.
The details about the engine are not available yet. However, these motorcycles are rumoured to carry a 350-400cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine. We expect the power output to range between 35bhp and 40bhp.
These motorcycles are expected to arrive at a competitive price tag. Thus, these Anglo-Indian products are likely to arrive in the Rs. 2.50 lakh and Rs. 2.80 lakh (ex-showroom) price range. Once launched, these motorcycles will rival the likes of the Royal Enfield Classic 350 and Honda CB 350 among others.
