Royal Enfield's 650cc twins are right around the corner, and from the outset the manufacturer has some 40 accessories available for purchase with the Continental GT 650. We take a look at some of them.
Front fork gaiters are oh so retro, and a good idea in a market as dusty as ours.
Fly screen. The aftermarket fly screen echoes the screen that was available on the original 250cc Continental GT, and adds another retro touch to the Continental GT 650.
Bar-end mirrors. True to the cafe-racer theme, these lower the height of the bike visually and make it seem more extreme than it actually is.
Matte black intake cover. The intake cover is usually finished in chrome, but it can be had in matte black, which co-ordinates well with the rest of a black Continental GT.
Engine guard (small). Engine guards can be had in two sizes. This is the smaller of the two sizes.
Sump guard. This is a bash plate that protects the engine - never a bad India when you have as many large speedbreakers as we do.
Different foam, a cross hatch stitching pattern, and a bumstop running into a colour-coded cou instead
Swingarm bobbins. These are small things that help the Continental GT 650 get put on a paddock stand.
Yes, Royal Enfield has every intention of selling aftermarket exhausts, but unfortunately these particular ones from S&S aren't meant for the Indian market.
