The Continental GT 650 is the sportier version of the Royal Enfield 650 twins.
It sports a cafe racer-inspired design similar to the Continental GT 535 which it replaces globally.
The bike gets low-slung clip-on handlebars and rear-set foot pegs for a sporty riding position.
To further add to its sporty appeal, the Continental GT 650 exhales through twin pipes on either side.
The Continental GT 650 sports chrome on the spokes, engine, drive train, forks and headlamp bezel.
It also gets a chrome bezel twin pod instrument cluster that includes an analogue speedometer and tachometer with a digital unit that displays odometer, trip meter and fuel gauge.
This particular bike gets the optional pillion seat however; the bike comes with a single seat and pillion seat cowl as standard.
Royal Enfield is offering the bike in two standard colours, two custom colours and a chrome paint scheme.
While the standard colour options get chrome rims, the custom and chrome option gets black rims.
The Continental GT 650 is powered by a 648cc, parallel-twin that produces 47bhp and 52Nm and is mated to a six-speed gearbox and a slipper clutch.
Braking duties are taken up by a 320mm disc at the front and a 240mm disc at the rear with a dual-channel ABS as a standard fitment.
Meanwhile the suspension setup consists of conventional front forks and twin gas-charged shocks at the rear.
Royal Enfield retails the Continental GT 650 at an incredible price tag of Rs 2.5 lakhs for the standard version. The Custom and Chrome variants are priced at Rs 2.56 lakhs and Rs 2.68 lakhs (ex-showroom) respectively.
