- New Classic 350 Bobber unveil at Motoverse
- Based on Classic 350
- Price around Rs 2.10 lakh
Royal Enfield plans to finally introduce the last remaining variant of its 350cc line-up – the Goan Classic – a bobber based on the Classic 350.
This old-school-inspired motorcycle is likely to make its debut next month at the 2024 Motoverse – an annual event where Royal Enfield unveils and launches a lot of its new motorcycles. The price reveal will happen post the launch.
The Goan Classic 350 gets the famous ape-styled handlebar, a single-scooped seat, and whitewall tyres. These aesthetic additions make this motorcycle look a bit different from the Classic 350 variants. However, the majority of the cycle parts will be borrowed from the Classic 350.
The Classic 350 Bobber will also be mechanically identical to the Classic 350. It will be powered by a 349cc, air-cooled engine that produces 20.2bhp at 6,100rpm and a peak torque of 27Nm at 4,000rpm. The engine is paired with a five-speed gearbox. The bike employs a cradle frame with a telescopic fork at the front and twin shock absorbers at the rear. Braking is taken care of by a disc on both wheels.
In terms of product positioning, the Goan Classic 350 will sit above the standard Classic 350 model. As a result of this, this motorcycle is likely to have a price tag of around Rs 2.1 lakh (ex-showroom).
