- Available in four colours
- Will be launched at Motoverse 2024
- Gets tubeless spoke wheels
Royal Enfield recently unveiled the Goan Classic 350 in India. The Classic 350-based bobber will be available in four paint schemes - Purple Haze, Rave Red, Shack Black, and Trip Teal.
While the Purple Haze colourway looks a bit plain Jane, all other paint schemes add charisma to the motorcycle. My favourite is the triple-tone Rave Red shade, which combines red, black, and white colours. Those looking for a stealthy look can choose the Shack Black paint scheme, which combines golden highlights with a black undercoat. Meanwhile, the Trip Teal shade combines bold-looking blue and orange colours that pop out brilliantly.
Being a bobber inspired by the custom bike culture in Goa, the Royal Enfield Goan Classic 350 features a tall ape hanger handlebar, single-piece saddle with chopped rear fender, and white-wall tyres. It is the only motorcycle in its segment to ride on tubeless spoke wheels (19/16-inch). The rest of the cycle parts and underpinnings resemble the Classic 350.
Powering the Goan Classic 350 is a 349cc, air-cooled motor that delivers 20.2bhp at 6,100rpm and a peak torque of 27Nm at 4,000rpm. The engine is mated to a five-speed gearbox.
The Goan Classic 350 will rival the Jawa 42 Bobber and the Jawa Perak. It will be launched on 23 January at Motoverse 2024 in Goa. It will be positioned above the Classic 350 and is expected to be priced at around Rs. 2 lakh (ex-showroom).
