Royal Enfield has recently launched the new Goan edition of the Classic 350. We have ridden the bike through the streets of Goa, the place it takes inspiration from and our findings have been thoroughly documented in our first ride review. As of now, let’s take a look at its stunning pictures from our review and the key highlights of the bike.
Visually, the Goan Classic 350 is starkly different from its standard counterpart with a low-slung bobber stance and distinctive colour options all of which look quite funky.
The Goan also offers a different riding position which is more laid-back courtesy of the presence of a mini Ape-style handlebar, forward-set footpegs, and a scooped-out seat.
There are changes to the hardware as well. Unlike the standard Classic’s 19-18-inch wheel combination, the Goan rides on a 19-16-inch combination with cross-spoke wheels and tubeless tyres.
Owing to the different wheel configuration and lower stance, the seat height is also more accessible at 750mm. This also means the ground clearance has taken a hit and gone lower to 170mm.
The engine remains the same 349cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled unit that produces 19.94bhp and 27Nm and comes mated to a five-speed gearbox. But RE has changed the exhaust for a different aural experience.
Suspension duties on the Goan are handled by 41mm telescopic forks up front and preload-adjustable dual springs at the rear. Braking is taken care of by a single disc at both ends.
The single-tone colour options of the Goan Classic 350 are priced at Rs. 2.35 lakh while the dual-tone paint schemes are pegged at Rs. 2.38 lakh, ex-showroom.
