Royal Enfield grows by 49 per cent in July

July has been one of the best sales months for Royal Enfield.The company has sold 40,760 units in July as compared to 27,314 units in the same month last year - a growth of 49 per cent.

In the domestic market, the company managed to sell 39,867 units last month, whereas it sold 26,796 units in July 2014, reporting a growth of 49 per cent. In case of exports, the Chennai-based manufacturer sold 893 units as compared to 518 units in the corresponding month last year.

Royal Enfield recently took the online approach to sell its bikes. Last month, the company sold 200 limited edition despatch motorcycles through their official online store. The company managed to sell all the bikes in less than 26 minutes, which is quite an achievement in the Indian automotive segment. Along with this achievement, the company launched its second exclusive store in UK.
