- RE Guerrilla 450 spotted
- Gets a yellow and black paint scheme
- Launch on 17 July
Royal Enfield’s soon-to-be-launched Royal Enfield Guerrilla has once again been spotted during a commercial shoot. But this time around, this street bike has been spotted in a new paint scheme.
According to this video, the Guerrilla 450 will be offered in a yellow and black paint scheme as well. The fuel tank and the tail section have been painted a bright yellow, whereas the rest of the parts are dipped in black. Previously, the bike was spotted in two colours – gold with red and matte blue.
With the Guerrilla 450, Royal Enfield will enter the 400cc roadster motorcycle space. This motorcycle is based on the Himalayan 450 but gets a different subframe, suspension and wheels. This bike is powered by a 452cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine that makes 39.47bhp at 8,000rpm and 40Nm at 5500rpm.
Pictures of the test mules snapped in the past suggest that the Guerrilla 450 will have a simple yet purposeful design. Whether it is the circular LED headlight, the tear-drop-shaped fuel tank, or the small tail section that looks identical to the Himalayan’s, the bike has that quintessential roadster bike appearance.
The Guerrilla will be offered in two variants, and the prices are expected to start from Rs 2.30 lakh (ex-showroom). Its direct rival - the Triumph Speed 400 recently received a price drop of Rs 10,000, but for a limited time.
