Royal Enfield launched its latest and second 450cc offering, the Guerrilla 450, yesterday. It shares many components with its ADV twin but is a more road-focused, urban motorcycle. Royal Enfield is offering the Guerrilla 450 in three variants and here is what each of them has to offer.
Analogue
This is the base model of the Guerrilla 450 and comes with a price tag of Rs. 2.39 lakh. Royal Enfield offers the Analogue model in a single-tone paint scheme of Smoke Silver. While it has the same design and hardware, the analog trim, as the name suggests, has a semi-digital instrument console.
The setup comprises a centre-set LCD with an analogue dial around it. Royal Enfield is also offering a separate pod for the Tripper Navigation. It gives you access to smartphone connectivity for call and SMS notifications as well as turn-by-turn navigation. This is the most affordable model in the entire Guerrilla lineup.
Dash
This is the mid-spec variant of the Guerrilla 450 with a price tag of Rs. 2.49 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). Royal Enfield is offering the Dash trim in two colour options – Playa Black and Gold Dip. As fancy these names sound, they also make the Guerrilla look quite funky and upbeat.
Both colours are dual-tone combinations. So, the Gold Dip uses a shade of golden colour with red on the fuel tank while the front fender and rear panels are coloured red and golden, respectively. On the other hand, the Playa Black gets red with black and a yellow strip running across the fuel tank. Royal Enfield is also offering this specific colour scheme with the analogue instrument console. But, the Dash trim gets a fully digital screen with smartphone connectivity inbuilt, as a standard fitment. The unit appears identical to the one we see on the Himalayan 450.
Flash
The Flash model is the top spec and the most expensive one in the Guerrilla 450’s lineup. It retails at Rs. 2.54 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi) and can be purchased in two colours options – Brava Blue and Yellow Ribbon. Again, both of these are dual-tone colours. So, the Yellow Ribbon gets black with yellow and purple coloured font. Meanwhile, the Brava Blue appears the neatest and is a combination of a shade of blue with white.
The Guerrilla 450 Flash gets a fully digital TFT with smartphone connectivity as standard.
All three trims use the same Sherpa 450 motor. It is a 452cc, single-cylinder engine and belts out 39.50bhp at 8,000rpm and 40Nm at 5,500rpm. The engine is linked to a six-speed gearbox. Even the hardware and the overall dimensions remain identical throughout the Guerrilla 450 range.
