Royal Enfield launched its most anticipated product, the Himalayan 450, very recently. The bookings for the same had also commenced a little while ago and now, the official deliveries have begun.
Interested buyers can book the new Himalayan on Royal Enfield’s official website. The token amount is set at Rs. 10,000 and there are three variants of the bike – Kaza, Slate, and Summit. Overall, there are five paint schemes for the new Himalayan – Kaza Brown, Slate Himalayan Salt, Slate Poppy Blue, Kamet White, and Hanle Black.
The asking price of the Himalayan starts at Rs. 2.69 lakh and goes all the way to Rs. 2.84 lakh (all ex-showroom, Delhi). It is powered by a 450cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine that makes 40bhp at 8,000rpm and 40Nm at 5,000rpm. It is linked to a six-speed gearbox. Royal Enfield has offered a lot of features on the Himalayan 450. Along with full LED illumination, it gets a TFT screen that comes with smartphone connectivity. The latter gives you access to media controls, call and SMS notifications, and Google Maps navigation as well. Its hardware includes USD front forks and a monoshock with a front and rear disc. As of now, the Royal Enfield Himalayan is sold with conventional spoke wheels wrapped in tubed tyres.
