- New Himalayan launch on 24 November
- Price to be between Rs. 2.5 lakh and Rs. 2.6 lakh
- Will replace the Himalayan 411
Royal Enfield will launch its most awaited motorcycle – the Himalayan 450 – on 24 November at Motoverse 2023.
The Himalayan 450 will replace the Himalayan 411 in India. Currently, the Scram 411 has a starting price of Rs. 2.06 lakh, whereas the Himalayan 411 is priced at Rs. 2.16 lakh (both ex-showroom). The next motorcycle in Royal Enfield’s line-up is the famous Interceptor 650, with a price tag of Rs. 3.03 lakh. So, there will be a void of almost Rs. 1 lakh, which the brand will fill with the new Himalayan 450.
The Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 is expected to carry a starting price of Rs. 2.5 lakh to Rs. 2.6 lakh for the Kaza Brown paint scheme. The remaining variants are expected to be Rs. 12,000 to Rs. 20,000 more expensive. As the platform is new, and this will also be the first time their bike uses liquid -cooling, the brand will ask for extra money. Plus, it has modern features like a full-colour TFT screen and riding modes. So, with these additions, the Chennai-based brand will price the base variant at around Rs. 3 lakh, on-road.
We have already ridden the bike a few days ago, and we loved it. The review is already live on BikeWale and also on the YouTube channel.
