- Debuted last week at the Rally de Cuencas
- Still in the early stages of development
- Features revisions to the hardware and the bodywork
After the previous teasers of the Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 Rally bike, we have now come across some new visuals of the same. The bike has made its debut at the Rally de Cuencas in Spain and is being piloted by CS Santosh.
It is evident that Royal Enfield is aiming at the Dakar Rally 2026 with the Himalayan 450 and this rally was one of many testing grounds for the same. As seen here, the bike is in its early stages of development and is missing out on a fair amount of the bodywork. In its current form, the Himalayan 450 Rally only sports a round headlight, a rally-style tower for navigation, a flat seat with revised side panels and a stubby tail.
Its hardware comprises fully adjustable front forks with a new triple clamp, conventional spoke wheels with tubed tyres, and aftermarket handlebar guards too. While the changes to the engine are unknown, the Himalayan 450 Rally is equipped with an Akrapovic exhaust which could increase the overall output marginally.
In the previous story, the teaser images also revealed a set of revised switchgear for the Himalayan 450 Rally. Not to mention, the wiring harness to appear revised for it.
