- Spied with aluminium top-box and panniers
- Pannier and top-box likely to be available in two colours
- Launch details unavailable yet
The upcoming Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 has shown itself once again, and this time the motorcycle was spotted with optional luggage panniers. Do note that while Royal Enfield already offers aluminium panniers for the Himalayan (411) and the Scram 411, the aluminium top-box is a new addition that is yet to be available via the optional accessories. Similar to the existing panniers, the top-box, too, should be available in two colour options – Silver (seen in spy image) and Black.
The launch details for this new adventure-tourer are not available yet but the company should announce a date very soon. In fact, Royal Enfield MD, Sid Lal posted a teaser for the motorcycle on his social media handles.
We have already brought you several exclusive details about this upcoming motorcycle, including its mechanical specifications. As reported earlier, the new Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 will use a single-cylinder, liquid-cooled, 450cc engine that will deliver 40bhp and 45Nm of peak torque. Other hardware on the motorcycle, as seen in spy images, include upside-down front forks, rear mono-shock, and wire-spoke wheels.
The motorcycle will come equipped with full-LED lighting, Bluetooth-enabled instrument cluster, and dual-channel ABS. Once launched, the new Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 will compete against the likes of KTM 390 Adventure and BMW G 310 GS in India.
