Royal Enfield has finally launched the tubeless spoke wheels for the Himalayan 450. It is priced at Rs. 11,000 a pair and the said product is listed on the brand’s website. These tubeless spoke wheels are available in Royal Enfield’s accessory catalogue. However, existing Himalayan 450 owners will have to pay Rs. 12,424 for the said tubeless spoke wheels and it will be available at the dealerships from 3 October.
The newly launched tubeless spoke wheels a.k.a. cross spoke wheels allow you to wrap tyres around it without needing a tube in between. In case of a puncture, one can simply use a patch or a regular puncture kit and won’t have to remove the entire wheel assembly, pull the tube out, patch it/replace it for further use.
The introduction of tubeless spoke wheels for the Himalayan 450 should increase its overall usability not only while riding off-road but also when munching kilometres on long rides where the bike is prone to punctures. For reference, these wheels have debuted less than a year after the bike was launched back in December 2023.
Apart from the new wheels, the Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 remains unchanged. It gets the same engine, suspension, brakes, features, and everything else too. Moreover, in its segment, the Himalayan 450 is the only adventure motorcycle to offer tubeless spoke wheels.
