Ahead of its official launch in India, Royal Enfield has revealed key details about the new Himalayan 452. Although the bike maker is yet to reveal its specifications, the 2023 Royal Enfield Himalayan 452 will be offered in five colour options.
The paint schemes are spread across three variants, Base, Pass, and Summit. The base trim of the Himalayan 452 is available in a single Kaza Brown shade, while the mid-spec Pass variant is available in Slate Himalayan Salt and Slate Poppy Blue colours. The top-spec Summit trim is available in two paint options – Hanle Black and Kamet White.
The Kaza Brown paint scheme features an off-white colour for the fuel tank, side panel, front beak, and the rear mudguard. The Slate Himalayan Salt and Slate Poppy Blue options are finished in grey with red or blue highlights on the tank, side panels, and the rims, respectively.
On the other hand, the Hanle Black paint scheme comes with a combination of black and yellow colours, along with golden rims. The Kamet White paint option uses white as the base colour and the graphics of the Himalayan peaks on the fuel tank, side panels, and the rear fender.
Besides the colour options, Royal Enfield has revealed that the motorcycle will come with a fully digital TFT instrument cluster that will come with Google Maps integration, LED lighting, long-travel USD forks and a mono-shock.
Though the engine specifications aren’t out yet, leaked certification documents have revealed that the new Himalayan 452 will be powered by a 451.65cc, liquid-cooled motor that is expected to produce around 39.5bhp at 8,000rpm. The torque figure is not known yet, but we do know that the motorcycle will come with a six-speed gearbox. Moreover, registration documents of some of the test units have revealed that the motorcycle will get a kerb weight of 196kg.
The new Royal Enfield Himalayan 452 will make its official debut at the EICMA 2023 on 7 November, which is when all the details about its specifications, dimensions, kerb weight, etc. will be revealed. That said, our sources reveal the Himalayan 450 will be launched in India at the Motoverse 2023 aka Rider Mania.
