- New Himalayan 452 spotted in Leh
- Will get a new 452cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine
- To be launched very soon
Royal Enfield is all set to launch their most awaited motorcycle project – the new Himalayan 452. The launch of this bike is expected to take place in the next few weeks.
Over the last few months, the prototypes of the Himalayan 452 were spotted around the country. But this is the first time a production-ready bike was seen in action during a commercial shoot in Leh. The brand was seen using more than one bike for the shoot. The Himalayan 452 was fully loaded with the top box and also the side boxes.
A few days ago, we revealed some of the specifications of this bike. The new adventure bike will be powered by a 451.65cc single-cylinder motor and the power output will be rated at 39.47bhp. It’ll come linked to a six-speed gearbox, and the peak power will be accessible at 8,000 rpm. Then, the length of the new Himalayan 452’s wheelbase will be 1,510mm and its width will measure 852mm.
The new Himalayan 452 has taken some inspiration from the existing version with its round headlight and metal frame between it and the fuel tank. The bike also sports quite a few new elements. It will ride on USD front forks and a monoshock. Then, the braking hardware will comprise a front and rear disc with dual-channel ABS. These will be linked to the 21-inch front and 17-inch rear spoke wheels wrapped in off-road-ready rubber.
We are expecting the new Himalayan 452 to either make its global debut late next month or at the 2023 EICMA show that will take place in the first week of November in Milan.
