-Parallel-twin engine seen
-Gets twin disc brakes at the front
-Has a high mount exhaust
The Royal Enfield Himalayan 750 has been spotted testing in India. The bike has been undergoing tests overseas so far and we finally have visuals of the Himalayan 750 being tested on our roads. The images reveal quite a few interesting details about the bike.
While the bike is wrapped heavily in camouflage the design of the Royal Enfield Himalayan 750 seems to borrow cues from the Himalayan 450. This is seen in the round LED headlight, the tall windscreen, the bulky fuel tank and a slim tail section. The LED tail light with the integrated turn indicators is also similar to the unit seen on the Himalayan 450.
The bike is likely to be powered by a 750cc, parallel-twin engine. This may be a bored out version of the existing 650cc, parallel-twin and it should develop upwards of 50bhp. There is a high mount exhaust as well, which should give the bike good water wading ability.
That said, the engine will certainly add a lot of weight to the bike and it’ll be interesting to see how Royal Enfield has managed weight distribution.
Other aspects of the bike that are visible include USD fork, monoschock, wire-spoke wheels and twin disc brakes at the front.
Lastly, the riding position looks upright and comfortable, which should help while munching big miles throughout the day.
Royal Enfield will be busy testing the bike during this year and we may see the company reveal the bike towards the end of 2025 or in early 2026.
