- Royal Enfield Himalayan BS6 prices increased by up to Rs 2,754
- First price hike since its launch in January 2020
- Attractive offers available on all Royal Enfield models
Royal Enfield has increased the prices of its adventure touring motorcycle, the Himalayan BS6, in India. The Chennai-based bike maker had launched the BS6 Himalayan in January 2020 and this is the first price hike it has received since then. As compared to its introductory prices, all the colour variants of the motorcycle are now dearer by up to Rs 2,754.
The old and new variant-wise prices of the Himalayan BS6 are mentioned in the below table:
(All prices are ex-showroom, Delhi)
The BS4 to BS6 transition had already brought a price hike of Rs 6,000 for the Himalayan. In spite of these price increments, the motorcycle continues to remain one of the most value-for-money ADVs, which we learned during our road test review. Its 411cc, air-cooled engine now makes 24.5bhp and 32Nm and comes mated to a five-speed gearbox. Besides the new colour options, the Himalayan now gets additional features including switchable ABS (can be turned Off for the rear tyre) and hazard switch. It remains unchanged in all other aspects.
In order to compensate for the recent losses due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Royal Enfield has rolled out an exciting offer to attract more customers. Under this scheme, the customers will get free accessories and apparels worth Rs 10,000 on buying any RE model. Notably, the purchase needs to be done at the company’s dealership.
