- New colours for Himalayan showcased at 2019 EICMA
- Includes dual-tone colours and a matte paint scheme
- Could be introduced with the BS-VI compliant version
The Royal Enfield Himalayan’s colour palate is likely to be updated soon as the manufacturer showcased the bike in three new paint schemes at the 2019 EICMA
There is a tasteful-looking matte grey paint scheme which Royal Enfield is calling ‘Gravel Grey. The paint features on the tank and fenders while the rest of the motorcycle is blacked-out. Along with this, the Himalayan could also get two dual-tone paint options- ‘Rock Red’ and ‘Lake Blue’. Now the Rock Red scheme sports gloss black and red on the fuel tank while Lake Blue is a combination of white and blue. Furthermore, the two paints come with colour matched frame guards and grab rails.
Apart from the new colour options, the Himalayan appears to be the same as the current model mechanically. However, we expect the bike’s 411cc, single-cylinder engine to be revised and comply with the upcoming BS-VI emission norms. Royal Enfield is likely to introduce the new colour options for the Himalayan when it launches its updated 2020 line-up early next year.
