- Prices increased by Rs 4,222
- Second price hike this year
Royal Enfield has recently revised the prices of select models in its portfolio. Just some time back, we told you about its newest offering, the Scram 411, getting expensive and you can read about it here. Now, we have learnt that the bike on which the Scram is based has gotten dearer too. All the variants of the Himalayan are now Rs 4,222 more expensive than their previous pricing. The latest variant-wise ex-showroom prices of the motorcycle are mentioned below:
Gravel Grey, Mirage Silver: Rs 2,19,109
Rock Red, Lake Blue: Rs 2,22,928
Pine Green and Granite Black: Rs 2,22,526
Following the price revision, the difference in price between the top-end variant of the Himalayan and the corresponding variant of the Scram is Rs 14,000. What else is worth noting is that this is the second price increment recorded for the Himalayan this year alone.
Boasting a 411cc, single-cylinder engine with punchy low-end torque and off-road-oriented cycle parts, the Himalayan is quite a versatile motorcycle. While it can tour and attack trails, it can also be used as a daily driver. It's comfortable and accessible and the latest edition is more modern with the inclusion of RE's Tripper Navigation setup and switchable ABS.
