The Himalayan is one of the most popular motorcycles from Royal Enfield and the first adventure offering from the brand. Currently, in its BS6 avatar, it is being offered in India a choice of six colour options.
First up is the Pine Green colour scheme that gets camouflage-style graphics all over the bodywork. And in complete contrast, there is the Granite Black paint that incorporates matte and gloss black as well. This option also gets a ‘01’ graphic on the fuel tank. Both of these colour options on the Himalayan are priced at Rs 2.22 lakh.
Further, you could also have the Royal Enfield Himalayan in Rock Red or Lake Blue. While the former combines red and black the latter gets white to contrast with the blue and is featured on the fuel tank on both options. These are priced at Rs 2.18 lakh. Lastly, the most affordable colour option on the Himalayan costs Rs 2.14 lakh. These are solid colours in the form of Mirage Silver and Gravel Grey.
Well, that said, the Royal Enfield Himalayan is powered by a 411cc, single-cylinder engine that churns out a healthy 24.3bhp and 32Nm. Moreover, it comes with features like switchable ABS and the tripper navigation as standard equipment. As for competition, it goes up against the KTM 390 Adventure and 250 Adventure along with the Suzuki VStrom SX as well.
