Royal Enfield has announced that its Hunter 350 motorcycle has crossed the 2,00,000 units sales milestone across the globe since its launch in August last year. This sub-500cc motorcycle crossed the first lakh unit sales milestone in February 2023. The next 1,00,000 units were sold in the following five months.
The company added in its press announcement that the Hunter 350 has made rapid growth in Tier-2 and Tier-3 markets in India. Apart from India, the Hunter 350 is also available in Indonesia, Japan, Korea, and Thailand in APAC; France, Germany, Italy and the UK in Europe; Argentina, Colombia and Mexico in LATAM; and Australia, and New Zealand as well. Now, the company plans to introduce this product in Brazil.
The Royal Enfield Hunter 350 is available in three variants – Retro Factory, Metro Dapper, and Metro Rebel. They are distinguished through their respective hardware, with the Metro variant packing more features. The specifications, on the other hand, are identical on all variants, and the Hunter 350 uses a 349cc, air/oil-cooled engine. Linked to a five-speed gearbox, this motor is tuned to deliver a maximum output of 20.2bhp at 6,100rpm and a peak torque of 27Nm at 4,000rpm.
In India, the Royal Enfield Hunter 350 competes in the sub-500cc segment and rivals the likes of the TVS Ronin, Jawa 42, and Honda Hness CB350.
