After much anticipation, Royal Enfield finally launched the Hunter 350 in India at a starting price of Rs 1,49,900 (ex-showroom Delhi). It’s the most affordable bike from Royal Enfield and let’s take a close look at everything it offers.
Royal Enfield offers the Hunter 350 in three trims: Retro, Metro Rebel and Metro Dapper. The asking price is set to Rs 1,49,900 for the Retro variant while the Rebel and Dapper models retail at Rs 1,63,900 and Rs 1,68,900 (all ex-showroom Delhi).
Following the family tradition, the Hunter 350 features retro garb all over. From its round halogen headlight to fuel tank and the overall bodywork, the latest Royal Enfield motorcycle is appropriately old-school.
Similar to the Classic 350 and the Meteor 350, the Hunter 350 is powered by a 349cc single-cylinder air-cooled motor. It dishes out 20.2bhp and 27Nm and is mated to a 5-speed gearbox. The claimed top speed of the bike is limited to 114kmph.
It features a single-pod semi-digital instrument console that houses the speedometer, odometer, fuel level readout and more. However, Royal Enfield also offers a secondary pod for the Tripper Navigation system.
Furthermore, Royal Enfield also offers accessories like the smoked fly screen, panniers, different seats and a backrest as well.
The Hunter 350 gets 41mm conventional telescopic forks and dual rear shocks.
The braking hardware comprises a 300mm front disc and a rear drum brake setup for the base variant. But the Metro variant gets a 270mm rear disc with dual-channel ABS.
Royal Enfield offers spoked wheels for the Retro trim and alloys for the Rebel and Dapper models.
Overall, the bike is offered in eight colours: Factory Black, Factory Silver, Dapper Grey, Dapper Ash, Dapper White, Rebel Red, Rebel Black and Rebel Blue.
For added protection, the Hunter 350 also has an engine guard and a sump guard. It gets a 13-litre fuel tank and weighs 181kg.
