Just a week after we gave you exclusive details about the Royal Enfield Hunter 350, the manufacturer has revealed that the motorcycle will make its debut between 4-8 August.

Now, the Hunter 350 will be the most affordable model in Royal Enfield’s stables and is expected to sit below the Bullet 350 which will get an update soon. So, it is likely to be priced from Rs 1.40 lakh, ex-showroom. This version is codenamed the J1C2 and will come with spoke wheels and minimum features to keep costs in check. There will also be the J1C1 which will be the range topping model with alloy wheels and additional features.

However, both will be based on Royal Enfield’s J-platform and use the same 348cc, single-cylinder engine that also does duty on the Classic 350 and Meteor 350. Further, the Hunter 350 will be aimed at newer riders with its low seat height and kerb weight.

That said, we won’t have to wait long for more details of the motorcycle as the launch is just a month away. In terms of rivals, the Royal Enfield Hunter 350 will go up against the Yamaha FZ25, Suzuki Gixxer and Pulsar 250 as well.
