- Royal Enfield India launch details revealed
- Will use Meteor 350-sourced engine
- Likely to be available in at least two variants
Royal Enfield has confirmed the Indian launch details of its new product, the Hunter 350. This new model from the Chennai-based two-wheeler maker will be launched in the Indian market on 7 August, 2022. The company will reveal the product, along with its specifications and India prices on the aforementioned date.
The motorcycle has already started to arrive at the dealer warehouses and a showroom-ready product was spotted earlier this month. The spy image revealed at least two variants of the Hunter 350. One version was equipped with alloy wheels while the other had wire-spoke units. Needless to say, the wire-spoke variant will use tube-type tyres while the alloy wheel version will be equipped with tubeless units.
The mechanical specifications, on the other hand, will be identical on all variants. Thus, the new Hunter 350 range will use the Meteor 350-sourced 349.34cc single-cylinder engine that, as confirmed by leaked type approval documents, will deliver 19.9bhp at 6,100rpm.
The styling elements across the range will include round shape for the rear-view mirrors, tear-drop-shaped fuel tank, asymmetrically-mounted instrument cluster, single-piece seat, compact exhaust canister, and alloy wheels. The new Hunter 350 will rival the likes of Yamaha FZ25, Suzuki Gixxer, and Pulsar 250 in the Indian market.
