- Royal Enfield sales grow by 84 per cent in March
- Sells 66,058 units of two-wheelers last month
- Dispatches stood at 35,814 units last month
Royal Enfield’s India sales have grown by as much as 84 per cent in March 2021 as compared to the corresponding month last year. The Chennai-based bike maker sold 66,058 units of motorcycles last month which was up from 35,814 units in March 2020. While the domestic dispatches of the brand stood at 60,173 units, it exported 5,885 units of motorcycles.
Royal Enfield has been occupying the headlines lately because of the spy shots of its upcoming motorcycles. The company is preparing to introduce a host of new products and some of the most talked-about amongst these are multiple 650cc models, the next-generation Classic 350 and the Hunter.
The company also launched as many as five new funkier-looking colour options for its flagship offerings, the Interceptor 650 and the Continental GT 650. Moreover, the customers also have the option to execute minor customisations in these bikes through RE’s new MiY (Make It Yours) online platform.
