- Bear 650 officially teased
- Global unveil very soon
- India prices to be out next month
Royal Enfield has finally released a teaser video of its upcoming motorcycle, the Bear 650. This motorcycle is likely to make its debut soon.
This is the first time the company has revealed something official about this motorcycle. However, pictures of the Bear 650 have already been leaked, thanks to the Australian approval documents. These pictures clearly show that the Bear 650 will have quite an attractive styling, and a lot of credit for this goes to the paint schemes.
The Royal Enfield Bear 650 is a scrambler based on the Interceptor. So it uses the same chassis as the INT 650 and a few things like a round LED headlight, peanut-shaped fuel tank, and a single-piece seat with a tubular grab rail. But the tail section is a bit revised.
The Bear 650 will get its power from a 648cc, parallel-twin engine that all the current 650cc Royal Enfield bikes use. It will get a six-speed gearbox. However, the Bear 650 will get a two-in-one exhaust which means the tuning and the note could vary significantly. The said exhaust setup is to suffice its scrambler purpose and should also be notably lighter than its siblings.
The Bear 650 is likely to be sold in multiple variants and the top-most variant could get the TFT screen from the Himalayan 450. There could be other features like USB charging and dual-channel ABS system.
The Bear 650 will be positioned between the Continental GT and the Shotgun as there’s a big price void that Royal Enfield will try to fill in with the Bear 650.
