The new Interceptor Bear 650 from Royal Enfield has finally been unveiled. This scrambler will be shown to the public at 2024 EICMA, which is also the time when the India prices for the bike will be out.
The prices of the Bear 650 are likely to differ based on the colour schemes. For the Indian market, Royal Enfield will offer five colours: Broadwalk White, Petrol Green, Wild Honey, Golden Shadow, and Two Four Nine. These colours will be priced differently even though there aren’t any changes between the models. Royal Enfield has used this approach in the past for other motorcycles.
The Bear 650 is based on the Interceptor but gets a host of changes to suit off-road needs. The wheels are different, the suspension has more travel, and due to that, the seat height has increased. Even in the performance department, the 650cc parallel-twin motor makes a lot more torque than the Interceptor 650. The Bear 650 has some premium features like Showa USD forks and a full-colour TFT screen with Bluetooth integration.
The Bear 650 will be launched officially next week, and the bookings will commence on the same day. The deliveries are expected to begin in mid-November.
