Royal Enfield has flagged off the Tour of Rajasthan, which is in its fifth edition this year. More than 24 riders from across the country will travel across Rajasthan covering about 2,100 kms in the next nine days.
Today, they were briefed about the journey and were given tips on how to take care of themselves and their Royal Enfield motorcycles for the coming days. Their bikes and riding gear were thoroughly scrutinized in the afternoon and required attention was given to make the necessary changes for the ride.
Tomorrow, the journey will begin from Jaipur city to Mahansar, which will be the first stopover of the ride. For next nine days, the riders will traverse Bikaner, Jamba, Sam, Barmer, Mt. Abu, Pushkar and return to Jaipur.
The entire route will offer the riders a mix bag of smooth highways as well as difficult terrain as they will go across sand dunes, hills and even a lake bed. They will challenge themselves by putting themselves and their bike's capability to the test, while also honing their riding skills.
