Royal Enfield launches new riding gear; prices start from Rs 2700

- The new riding gear range comprises of full/half face helmets, riding gloves and bags

- Prices range from Rs 2700 to Rs 4500 depending on the product

- Can be purchased through Royal Enfield’s online apparel store and outlets

Royal Enfield offers a wide range of riding gear, lifestyle accessories, footwear and merchandise for its owners and brand enthusiasts, thus ensuring a long-lasting experience. Now, the two-wheeler bike maker has further expanded its apparel portfolio by adding several new items to the list. Like the other products that it sells, Royal Enfield has priced the new items keeping the affordability in mind without compromising on quality. The prices range from Rs 2,700 to Rs 4,500 depending on the commodity which can either be purchased by logging onto the company’s online apparel store or by directly visiting any authorized dealership or apparel store. That said, the following are the new products launched by the Chennai-based manufacturer.

Spiti riding gloves (Price Rs 3200):

These riding gloves have been specially designed for riding in extreme weather conditions. The gloves feature longer sleeves which prevent the heat from escaping. Built using high-grade leather, the gloves use a complete polyester tricot lining on the inside with Thermoformed Protector (TPU) at knuckles and finger joint for protection. The pointer fingers are also touch screen compatible. Available in three colours - black, brown and olive.

Rocker Gloves (Price Rs 3000):  

If you have recently purchased either the Interceptor 650 Twin or the Continental GT 650 Twin or plan to, the Rocker gloves are a definite must-have. Inspired by the 650 Twins, the gloves evoke a retro café racer appeal which is hard to resist. The exterior is made from highly abrasion-resistant genuine leather with high-density foam protectors at knuckles. Besides that, the gloves have foam inserts on palms to protect the crucial scaphoid bone, and on the dorsal side (back of the hand) in the event of a crash. The gloves are adventure touring friendly with adjustable Velcro tab at cuff for a secure fit.

Bolt full-face helmet (Price Rs 3500):

When riding motorcycles, protection is a must, and a full-face helmet is foremost in that list. In addition to the wide range of helmets offered by the company, the new Bolt full-face helmet is a classic-styled lid that features a distinctive thunderbolt design. Royal Enfield recommends the helmet for those quick spins around the town along with long rides. The lid comes with a polystyrene liner and is UV coated for added scratch resistance. The helmet is available in three colour schemes.

Bolt 50 helmet (Price Rs 2700):

If you like the wind hitting you face while riding your motorcycle, Royal Enfield also has the Classic-styled Bolt 50 with a distinctive thunderbolt design and a chequered flag. The helmet has a polystyrene liner with UV coated for added scratch resistance and has detachable internals. The Bolt 50 can be your ideal pick for long or short trips within the city.

Classic Duffel bag (Price Rs 4500): Like Royal Enfield calls it, the Classic Duffel bag is a simple yet versatile product for every motorcyclist. The duffel bag comes with a roll-top that makes it easy for you to carry your belongings. It has attached Velcro bike straps that allow the bag to be comfortably strapped on during longer wearing sessions. The bag is water-resistant and comes with one additional pocket on the outside for carrying knick-knacks. The duffle bag is available in two colour options olive and grey.

Classic Sling bag (Price Rs 3000):

Your daily companion for the everyday rides around the city, the Classic Sling bag has the right mix of retro feel along with usability. The bag is water-resistant and comes with durable YKK zippers. It has a total of two compartments and is available in two colour Olive and Grey.
