Royal Enfield March sales grows by 42 per cent

Royal Enfield has announced that it has registered 42 per cent growth in March overall sales. The company sold 33,679 units last month as compared to 23,693 units in the corresponding month last year.

Out of the total March sales, the domestic market contributed 32,854 units, registering a growth of 42 per cent. Royal Enfield sold 23,170 units in the domestic market in the same month last year. In the export business as well, the company registered a double digit growth of 58 per cent, where it managed to sell 825 units as compared to 523 units in the same month last year. As per the latest sales report, Royal Enfield sold a total of 92,475 units in the last financial year, which shows a growth rate of 44 per cent.

Other than conducting its annual rides to various locations in and around the country, it recently ventured out into the online market place, where it will sell various brand accessories and clothing. Royal Enfield also introduced the black version of the Continental GT, which retails of Rs 2.14 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi), taking the bikes total colour options to three.
