Royal Enfield has reported an impressive growth of 52 per cent in March 2016. The company sold 51,320 units in March as compared to 33,678 units in the corresponding month last year.
In terms of the domestic market, the company sold 50,059 units in March as against 32,854 units in March 2015, reporting a growth of 32 per cent. In export markets too, the Chennai-based manufacturer grew by 53 per cent by selling 1,261 units as compared to 825 units in the same month last year. With the launch of the Himalayan, these numbers will grow more and help the company generate more revenue and acquire more market share in the adventure segment.
"Reaching sales of over fifty thousand motorcycles in a single month is a significant milestone for Royal Enfield.
