- Royal Enfield Meteor 350 new details revealed
- Is available in three variants
- Likely to cost around Rs 1.75 lakh
Royal Enfield is scheduled to launch the Meteor 350 in India around mid-September. Now, a leaked brochure has revealed a few more details about the upcoming motorcycle.
To begin with, the Meteor 350 will offer a 15-litre fuel tank. It will ride on a 19-inch front alloy wheel wrapped in a 100/90 section tyre and a 17-inch alloy wheel with a 140/70 tyre. Apart from these new details, we know that the motorcycle will be available in three variants- Fireball, Stellar and Supernova which get varying features and colour options.
However, all three variants use the same underpinnings- a double cradle frame that houses a heavily revised iteration of the Thunderbird X’s 346cc engine. This engine is expected to be smoother and have much lesser vibrations. The power and torque output are also likely to be improved marginally compared to the Thunderbird’s 20bhp and 28Nm output.
The Royal Enfield Meteor 350 is expected to cost around Rs 1.75 lakh and compete with the Jawa 42 and the Dominar 400 in the country.
