- Royal Enfield Meteor 350 to be launched next month
- Could be priced around Rs 1.8 lakh
- Will be offered in seven colour options
The Royal Enfield Meteor 350 is one of the highly-anticipated launches for India this year. Earlier expected to be launched around mid-September, sources have revealed that the Meteor 350 will now make its debut in October; an interesting move given that its rival, the Honda Highness is due on 30 September.
Nevertheless, we do know quite a bit about the upcoming Royal Enfield thanks to the spy images and leaked brochures. To begin with, it sports a styling similar to the Thunderbird 350X and is built on an all-new double-cradle chassis. The Meteor 350 will be available in three variants that feature different colour schemes and aesthetic elements. Moreover, the Meteor 350 will also be the first Royal Enfield to come with Bluetooth connectivity and navigation as standard.
The upcoming Meteor 350 will be powered by a 349cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled and fuel-injected engine that is likely to produce 20.2bhp and 27Nm of torque. As for pricing, the Royal Enfield Meteor 350 is expected to cost around Rs 1.8 lakh, ex-showroom; slightly higher than the Thunderbird 350X.
