- Royal Enfield Meteor 350 launched in Thailand
- All three variants introduced
- Export to the US and European markets began recently
Royal Enfield has recently launched its newest offering, the Meteor 350, in Thailand. The company has introduced all three variants of the Meteor in the country including Fireball, Stellar and Supernova with prices falling in the range of 1,50,000-1,59,000 Thai Baht (approximately Rs 3.67 lakh-3.90 lakh).
After launching the Meteor 350 in India earlier this month, Royal Enfield has actively started expanding its availability to the international markets. Apart from the recent launch in Thailand, the Chennai-based manufacturer has also started exporting the bike to the US and European markets.
The Meteor 350 is Royal Enfield’s first product based on its new J platform which will be utilised for multiple future models by the brand. Firstly, its 349cc, single-cylinder motor is a heavily revised version of the Classic 350’s engine. Although it churns out nearly the same power and torque at 20.2bhp and 27Nm, the new motor is much smoother and feels torquier. As opposed to the single cradle frame of the older REs, the Meteor is based on a new double downtube chassis. With a Bluetooth-enabled instrument cluster, the bikes is also impressive on the modernity front.
With the Meteor 350, Royal Enfield has put together a product which delivers good handling, accessible seat height, new-age features and good performance. You can also read our detailed review of the bike here.
