- Fireball variant gets Blue and Matte Green paint schemes
- New Red colour for Supernova trim
- Prices hiked substantially
Royal Enfield has updated the colour palette of its 350cc cruiser, the Meteor 350, in India. The entry-level Fireball trim will be available in Blue and Matte Green paint schemes while the top-end Supernova variant can be had in the new Red colour option. Notably, these will be sold alongside the existing colour of the Meteor 350.
What else is noteworthy is that the Meteor 350 has attracted a substantial price hike along with the introduction of new colour options. All three variants of the motorcycle have become dearer by Rs 4,224 now. Mentioned below are the new variant-wise priced (ex-showroom, Chennai) of the Meteor 350:
Fireball: Rs 2,05844
Stellar: Rs 2,11,924
Supernova: Rs 2,22,061
It’s not just the Meteor 350 from RE’s line-up that has received a price hike. Other models like the Scram 411 and the Himalayan too have become expensive. In fact, the month of April witnessed multiple manufacturers applying a certain extent of price increment which is mainly due to the rise in input costs and raw materials.
The technical specifications of the Meteor 350 haven’t gone through any changes. The motorcycle is powered by a 349cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine that produces 20.2bhp and 27Nm. For a modern-classic, it’s decently modern with features like a Tripper Navigation system, a semi-digital console, an LED DRL, and a USB charger. In terms of competition, the Meteor 350 locks horns with the new Yezdi Roadster.
