The Royal Enfield Meteor 350 is one of the most affordable quintessential cruisers available in India. The first motorcycle to be based on RE’s new J platform, the Meteor is quite capable of what it’s meant for – munching miles at a relaxed pace and manner. We had the bike as our long-term test bike for a few months and it impressed us on many fronts like seating comfort, quality, and refinement.
The Meteor 350 is powered by a 349cc, air/oil-cooled engine that produces 20.2bhp and 27Nm of peak torque. In a typical cruiser fashion, it rides on a 19-17-inch alloy wheel combination that is suspended by telescopic forks and dual springs. The stopping power comes from a single disc at both ends with dual-channel ABS. Feature-wise, the Meteor 350 is decently equipped with the package offering a semi-digital console, a USB charger, an LED DRL, and the tripper navigation system (optional).
