- Royal Enfield Meteor 350 prices increased
- Now expensive by Rs 6,428
- Second price hike over the last two months
It was in July this year that Royal Enfield had increased the prices of the Meteor 350 by as much as Rs 10,000. After just two months now, the Chennai-based bike maker has made the bike more expensive once again. And the price hike is substantial this time as well. All the variants of the Royal Enfield Meteor 350 have become dearer by Rs 6,428 now. The variant-wise prices of the motorcycle are mentioned below:
Fireball: Rs 1,98,537
Stellar: Rs 2,04,527
Supernova: Rs 2,14,513
(All prices are ex-showroom, Delhi)
Royal Enfield had launched the Meteor 350 in India in November last year with a starting price of Rs 1,75,825. Similar to every other two-wheeler in India, it went on receiving consistent price hikes over the last few months. With the latest prices, the Meteor 350 is now substantially expensive than the recently-launched version of the Classic 350 that starts at Rs 1.84 lakh. However, the top-end Chrome colour variant is priced at par with Meteor 350’s Supernova trim.
The Meteor 350 is based on Royal Enfield’s new J platform with a dual cradle frame which holds a 349cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled motor that’s good for 20.2bhp and 27Nm of peak torque. It is equipped with a bunch of modern features like an LED DRL, an LED tail light, a USB charging port and a dual-channel ABS. It also gets RE’s new Tripper Navigation system that gives access to turn-by-turn navigation powered by Google Maps.
