- Royal Enfield Meteor 350 sells 7,031 units
- Was launched in November
- Higher sales than Honda CB350
Royal Enfield launched its highly-awaited Meteor 350 in India in November. And in the first month itself, the motorcycle has registered a sale of 7,031 units. This sales number puts it ahead of the affordable Bullet 350 that recorded a sale of 6,513 units and only second to the ever-popular Classic 350 that registered a sale of 39,931 units in November. In comparison, its biggest rival- the Honda H’ness sold 4,067 units last month.
The Royal Enfield Meteor 350 is offered in three variants- Fireball, Stellar, and Supernova that are priced at Rs 1.75 lakh, Rs 1.81 lakh, and Rs 1.90 lakh respectively (all prices, ex-showroom). And unlike the Classic and Bullet, the Meteor 350 is built on a new double-cradle frame that houses a 349cc engine that is a heavily revised version of the 346cc mill found on its siblings. Furthermore, it also offers features like a Bluetooth-enabled display with a turn-by-turn navigation system; a first for any Royal Enfield motorcycle.
