- Meteor 350 spotted
- Gets navigation system
- India launch very soon
We were the first ones to tell you about Royal Enfield’s plan of introducing Bluetooth and navigation system on their upcoming motorcycle. And finally, one such motorcycle has been spotted and that one is the soon-to-be-launched Meteor 350.
According to these pictures, this Royal Enfield gets a modern instrument cluster. On the left side, there’s a tele tail lights along with an analog speedometer and on the right side there’s a small LCD screen that will display a host of ride information. This new LCD screen will have Bluetooth system that will support turn-by-turn navigation system. This system is likely to fetch navigation details from the phone app that the company will launch along with the motorcycle.
The Royal Enfield Meteor 350 is a replacement for the Thunderbird 350X and sports a styling similar to the latter. However, it gets slight changes that set it apart like the LED DRL headlamp, mono-pod instrument cluster, and round tail lamp. Nevertheless, in terms of underpinnings, the Meteor 350 is quite different. To begin with, it uses a double-cradle frame that houses RE’ new ‘J architecture’ engine whose exact displacement is currently unknown. Even the placement of the brakes and drive train are on the opposite side
We are expecting this motorcycle to make its India debut in the next few weeks. Being a new motorcycle, expect the brand to come out with new accessories and riding gear as well.
